Aaron E. Homer,  a native Houstonian, joined the firm in 2008 where his practice focuses on complex commercial litigation.  Specifically, his practice includes real estate litigation, breach of contract, insurance defense, commercial fraud, CMBS and securitized lending litigation, guaranty carve-out litigation, business torts, construction law disputes, as well as intellectual property law and general business matters.  Mr. Homer is licensed in the state of Texas and admitted to all four federal districts within Texas.    

Aaron earned his J.D. in 2006, graduating magna cum laude, from South Texas College of Law.  He was a member, and assistant editor, of the South Texas Law Review where he was published in 2007.

In 2002, Mr. Homer received his BS in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas. Between degrees, he worked at Reliant Energy as a software developer.  His primary responsibilities included developing a system to handle billing transactions and regulatory compliance.

Aaron Homer also co-founded Apogee Communications L.L.C. (now Apogee Telecom, Inc.), providing voice and data services to university students nationwide, where he served as Vice-President.  Apogee's success has been featured in The Austin American Statesman, The Austin Business Journal, The Daily Texan, and The Bryan-College Station Eagle.
