The firm has experienced lawyers that serve both as advocates and neutrals in business disputes.  The lawyers acting as neutrals regularly serve as arbitrators for the American Arbitration Association and the NASD, and have impressive mediation credentials.  Our trial lawyers are skilled and experienced in negotiation, mediation and arbitration. Each of the trial lawyers in the firm has participated in hundreds of negotiations and mediations. In some cases the trial lawyer is assisted in the negotiation and mediation by a lawyer who has third party-neutral experience. 
 
By using this team approach, the trial lawyer concentrates on preparing for trial and the "negotiator" focuses on attempting to negotiate a settlement and presentation of the case at mediation. This dual track approach does not delay trial and allows the client to continue to prepare for trial, while at the same time attempting to reach a rational settlement.  The firm also has drafted ADR clauses for transactional agreements establishing a method for parties to attempt to personally negotiate disputes and if unsuccessful to go to mediation before commencing an arbitration or lawsuit.
